MICHA MOOR

Micha Moor
To have the world’s best DJs and producers play your record is no mean feat. How’s this for an impressive fan base? Moby, Armand, Tiesto and Guetta. Just to name a few of the mixmeisters who have played Micha Moor’s electro house single ‘Space’ in their own sets. Indeed the track shot into the stratosphere of club culture, reaching number one on all the relevant international dance charts and topping Germany’s Beatport listing for weeks running.

Micha Moor’s followup singles ‘Close Your Eyes’, ‘Tonight’ and ‘Learn To Fly’ were also chart favourites, each nestling nicely in the German top ten and burning dancefloors the globe over.

Not only with his singles, but also with his remixes Moor keeps the banging house coming, such as his remix of The Beat thiefs & Suzee X featuring Peyton’s ‘Feeling Nina’, quickly tagged ‘hot download’ in Roger Sanchez’s weekly radio show ‘Release Yourself’.

Other remixes you’re bound to have heard in clubland include Culcha Candela´s ‘Ey DJ’, MYPD’s ‘You’re Not Alone’, and Niels van Gogh’s ethereal ‘Dreamer’. Moor’s latest strike ‘Break My World’, for Israel-based outfit, Epiphony, is going to be a big one for the dancefloors again. Early support comes along from well known names like Bob Sinclar, Mischa Daniels, Patric La Funk, EDX and Jean Elan.

Furthermore, Micha Moor is an internationally renowned DJ, forever choosing new courses in his DJ sets, and boasting a technique not two, but three CD decks. During the past years he has toured Australia, Brazil, Portugal, Russia, Croatia, Indonesia, Israel, Columbia, Tunesia, France and Greece several times over. And he’s set to do them all again soon.

We can expect to hear a lot from this talented guy and are looking forward to his upcoming releases. Watch this, yes, Space.

WILL BAILEY

Will Bailey, Simma
Is there a CD wallet in the land which doesn't have one of Will Bailey's bullets stashed away? Some of the most influential DJ/producers around the world are currently trumpeting Will's impressive production skills, and dancefloors from London to L.A have been destroyed by his explosive sets - featuring grimy electro house, techno touches and surprise drops of cross-genre killer tracks.

Re-inventing himself more times than Madonna, Will's many aliases (including the in-your-face Twocker, techno beast Rudi Stakker and fidget force Bass Weazal) have been causing a ruckus on the airwaves with over 30 recent Radio 1 plays alone. Props have been coming in thick and fast from across the DJ spectrum: Pete Tong, Armand Van Helden, Wolfgang Gartner, Judge Jules and Fatboy Slim have all recognised Will Bailey's talents in 2009, while Galaxy Radio kingpin Andi Durrant described Will's productions as "proper get-out-of-jail tracks."

A regular player in the top of the beatport charts with over 100 releases to date, Will's recent massive 'Hit The Club' banger loomed large in all credible bassbins at the end of last year, receiving heavy radio support from Kissy Sell Out, Pete Tong and Judge Jules, while a long list of DJs including Crookers, mstrkrft and Paul Oakenfold gave it considerable club rotation.

Bass Weazel's catalogue, included 'Kill The Fox', 'Break The Bomb' and 'Loco Selector' followed suit, scoring high on the playlists for specialist shows. Bass Weazal's 'Jungle Massive' has also recently appeared on the Plump DJs' mix for Global Underground.

With a natural ear for heavy hitters, it was clear that the Birmingham-based studio whizz would find success with his own label Simma. With a collaboration between himself and Hot Mouth ('Underwear Funk') and Aniki and Bling Fingah released in the autumn of 2009 and more in the pipeline, plus a series of crazy Simma parties held in mystery locations, it looks as if Simma's already boiling over...

Recently crowned resident for the world famous clubbing institution Gatecrasher, Will has a presence that's hard to ignore. Delivering sets which get straight to the point, he has audiences eating out of his hand before the first mix. With a huge U.S fanbase, he has already conquered the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert, the Electric Daisy Carnival, Kosmic and Atlantis festivals in L.A plus a string of gigs in Chicago, Buffalo, Seattle, Denver, San Francisco to name a few. While In the UK, Will has smashed all the best parties: Sankeys in Manchester, G, The Gallery at Ministry of Sound and Stealth in Nottingham Matter in London are just some of the venues that have witnessed the full force of the Will Bailey experience!

Summer 2010 saw Will take to the mainstage at the Netherlands biggest day festival Dance Valley, carrying on with there ethos to give the new generation of superstar DJS a chance to shine on one of the dance music worlds biggest platforms it will be a day to remember, and with gigs as varied as Womb in Tokyo, Judgement Sundays and the world's biggest club venue, Privilege in Ibiza, plus tours of Australia, US, Canada and Brazil in the diary, his schedule remains hectic as ever. Will Bailey is in demand - and rightly so.
